Our story

Pawpawlemon was born in Ottawa, Canada, from countless quiet moments on the trail—where paw prints follow footsteps, and a simple walk becomes something deeper.

Our founder and her adopted dog share a love for the outdoors. In summer, they hike under warm sunlight, crossing rocky paths and forest trails. In winter, they move through fresh snow, breath visible in the cold air, side by side in silence. But with every adventure came a worry—icy ground that stung, sharp stones that could injure, and gear that simply couldn’t keep up.

Time and again, she searched for something better. Yet most products either lacked quality or failed when it mattered most. Then one day, during an ordinary walk, she noticed a friend’s dog wearing boots that didn’t slip, didn’t soak through, and didn’t fall off mid-run. That small detail—so easy to overlook—sparked a big idea.

She began a journey of her own, testing gear from around the world, step by step, season by season. Only the pieces that proved themselves in real conditions stayed. When she shared them with other dog owners, the difference was felt immediately—longer walks, safer runs, happier dogs.

That’s how pawpawlemon came to life.
